Common questions
How does the free week work?
New accounts can start a one-time, 7-day free week. It's a free grant: no card, no charge, and nothing auto-renews. When it ends, nothing is billed; you simply choose whether to make a one-time purchase to keep creating new entries. Everything you've already created stays yours to open, view, and edit.
Is there a subscription?
No. LYS purchases are one-time and non-renewing: a month (30 days) or a year (365 days) of access that expires on its own. Nothing renews automatically, so there's nothing to cancel.
I forgot my password.
LYS is end-to-end encrypted, so we can't read or reset your content for you. When you set up your account, the app gives you a one-time recovery key. Keep it somewhere safe, because you can use it to unlock your account if you forget your password. If you've lost both your password and your recovery key, your encrypted content can't be recovered by anyone, including us. That trade-off is what keeps your content truly private.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For purchases made through our website checkout (available in the United States), we offer a 30-day refund: just email hello@lysplanner.com within 30 days and we'll take care of it.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings in the app and choose to delete your account. That removes your data from our servers. See our Privacy Policy for the full details of what's deleted and when.
